Hi Guys,
long overdue, but i'm organising another car run on Sunday 2nd May. Meeting point will be Stirling Services 0900-0915 leaving 0930. There are toilets, fuel & food for those who haven't been before. The services used to be called the Granada services and can be accessed from the M9 or M80.

I have not planned the route yet, but we will be heading north. I will email everybody the route a few days before we go. It will be similar format to the run last August with a detailed route plan, photo stops, toilets, fuel etc. There will be a stop for lunch somwhere with arrival back to Stirling around 1500-1530.

All type of cars welcome. There will be some quicker cars and some slower stuff. Drive at your own pace and remember this is not a race. It's a car run and we will stop for photos/break to let everyone catch back up. Bikes are welcome too.

If you want to go add your name to the list below. I will be away on a course from Sat 10th - Sat 23rd April and will probably not have internet access. Any help keeping the list updated when i'm away will be much appreciated.

Goddammit, I can never make the local runs! As a consolation, I'll be lying on a beach in Turkey so I'm not too fussed biggrin

Wee clash with a BMWCC meet but if the route is tempting...

I might be up for that.

I did part of this run with a group from the E30 Zone forum. This is the route taken straight from that forum.

Meet at Stirling Services 11:30, then head North to the B8033/B827 to Comrie then head to Creiff, then take the A822 to Amulree, followed by an unclassified rd to Kenmore(this ones fun ).
Have a lunch/beverage stop( at Kenmore Hotel then head along an unclassified road to connect up with the B846 to Foss and Tummel Bridge, then either head straight to Pitlochry or take a couple of other unclasified backroads to Dalnacardoch on the A9 then head down to Pitlochry.

Here is a video from that day out. It was November and pretty wet. Car in front has a rather big turbo strapped to the side of the 2.7!!

scratchchin

The only info I have on the BMWCC meet so far is "Kenmore, Drive and Dine".

Perhaps we could co-ordinate...

It would be nice to not have to choose. biggrin

Name added Alan. Hope you can make it Paul, you've got a few weeks to get something going. Andrew(mg) since it's your birthday i'll buy you a drink if you beat me to the lunch stop!! I might of course withhold that information where lunch is?? Nice video & driving in the wet Tedswagon. I've booked the sun as per usual, so it will be dry. Shame for those who are working or can't make it, i'm sure the next one will be soon after.
